Description
Many roman mosaics depicting gladiators show them protected on the right arm by what seems to be a fabric padded manica. Leather straps - or a sewing - shaped several flanges, as in our reproduction.
This manica is designed for the left arm, and may therefore be uses by a raetiarius.
