Description
This arming coat was weared under the armor, and was very useful to complete a chainmail suit. Made of thigh linen (our copy is made of cotton), it helped avoid the effects of crushing blows. We modified the pattern to improve the wearer's comfort : the armpits are now open, to allow the arms to move up easily (see last pictures on the page).
Weight 1.5kg, thickness 1cm. Our copy is a good compromise between weight and comfort, and is intended for re-enactors purposes. Size L (114cm chest perimeter, length 92cm, length of the arms 63)
