Description
This is a reproduction of a 18th boarding axe. On a crowded ship, long weapons were not very useful, risking to get stuck in a rope or wood, so horter weapons were prefered. This one as a pick, and a blade, also used to cut ropes.
Soft iron. Length 58cm, width 24,5cm, weigth 1,7kg.

These swords and sabers are high quality copies. Blades are made of forged and tempered steel. They might not be used for fencing, though.
