HL145 Roxolani helmet

Description

Among the enemies of Rome, the roofline were most certainly among the fearsome ones. From nomadic origin, they used to fight with a very heavy cavalry, the cataphracts. These were later incorporated in the roman armies as auxiliaries units.

This helmet, spanghelm type, with its brass fittings and cheek guards, is a typical one for the third cent and heavy cavalry unit. It may also fit a serration fighter.

22cm long and 18cm wide (inner dimensions). Iron.

× All the helmets - unless otherwise specified - come without internal padding.
