Description

Made in the late roman empire Fabricae, this helmet belongs to the heavy kind of mass produced helmets. Clearly made after oriental Sassanid helmets, with a nose guard, with irons plates protecting the join between cheek guard and bowl, the holes for the ears indicate an infantry model. Found in Burgh Castle, England.

Made of iron, with an internal leather trimming

× All the helmets - unless otherwise specified - come without internal padding.
