Description
Many mosaics, but also the notitia dignitatum, show late roman helmet with crests, even if almost none were found with crest remains. This one is made after the Berkasovo II helmet (our HL148 reference), the crest holder being decorated with the same pattern than the bowl and the cheekguards.
Iron helmet with brass decorative parts. 2,6kg. Width 18cm, length 22cm.
