Description
The shako will replace the bicorn in the napoleonic armies at the beginning of the 19th cent. Our replica is a grenadier one (to be recognised at its red ribbon and red cordon and raquettes). It is made of felt, with a thick leather top and peak, has a leather cocard, a pompom, its scaled chinstraps, stars with hooks for the cordon. The inner trim is made of leather and linen fabric.
Size 58/89. 19cm high, 25,5cm diameter at the top. Made of leather, felt, and brass.
