ME500 Napoleonic backpack

Description

A fine example of a napoleonic soldier backpack. Many different versions were made : 1802, 1806, 1812. Ours is the latter version one, bigger than the formers. Two straps on the upper part were used to fix the mantle. A Lmittle strap on the side may also be usefuls.

Made of cowhide, with an inner layer of cotton fabric. 46x40x15cm.
