Description
Perones were the roman colsed boots. Some could even be quit high. They were used by cavalrymen, and hunters, and one can see many sculptures showing roman officers wearing them.
This one is made after a founding of the Vindolanda roman fort.
Soles's length 30cm, usually size 43/44. Leather. No nails.
