SP174 - Angon

Description

During the late roman time, the germanic warriors begin to use a strange weapon, half spear and half harpoon, the Angon. It is a spear which iron head has a very long shaft (ours is 60cm), ending with a barbed tip. It may either be used as a throwing weapon, or at close range.

Soft iron. Length 60cm, needed shaft diameter 2,4cm. Length of the head 16cm.

× All these weapons have steel or bronze blades, but are not intended for fencing, unless otherwise specified. It is reminded that the sale of bladed weapons to minors is prohibited, and that even though our reproductions are primarily intended for decoration or historical reenactment, their acquisition is reserved exclusively to adults.
