Description
This beautiful roman gladius is made after one to be seen in the Mainz Museum. The shape of the blade makes it a typical Mainz gladius, with its decorated scabbard, from the first half of the first century.
Steel blade. Grip made of wwod. Scabbard made of wood, covered by leather with brass brackets. Length 75cm, blade 54,5cm (width of the blade at its beginning 6,5cm). Weight 775g.
