SW236 Crusader sword

Description

Godefroy de Bouillon founded the Jerusalem Kingdom at the end of the first crusade. It will be at its height during the 12th cent. This sword, equipped with straight quillons, and a long blade with two parallel edges may be dated from this time period.

Length 95cm (blade 78cm). Weight 1,2kg. Scabbard made of leather covered wood, with a wooden suspension piece. Grip covered in leather.
