Description
From 1801 on, Klingenthal's factory make a new saber, the an IX type. He is slightly modified some years later, and become the An XIII type. He was used by cuirassiers and carabiniers (and until 1806-1807, by the guard's gendarmerie).
The factory's name is engraved on the blade, and stamps and punches are present on the blade and on the hilt.
Length : 111,5 cm, weigth 1,4kg.

These swords and sabers are high quality copies. Blades are made of forged and tempered steel. They might not be used for fencing, though.
It is reminded that the sale of bladed weapons to minors is prohibited, and that even though our reproductions are primarily intended for decoration or historical reenactment, their acquisition is reserved exclusively to adults.
