SW496 French navy saber 19th century

Description

The shape of the weapon immediately remind the Hollywood pirates. It was in fact the weapon of the French XIXth century navy seamen. The factory's name is engraved on the edge (Klingenthal), and an anchor on the side.

Hilt in iron, handle made of wood, steel blade, black leather scabbard with iron brackets. All the iron parts are painted black to avoid corrosion. Length 80cm

× These swords and sabers are high quality copies. Blades are made of forged and tempered steel. They might not be used for fencing, though.
