SW566 Russian shashaka, 1881 type

Description

This saber, equipped with a Caucasian blade, comes in use in 1881, and is intended for cavalry. The scabbard's brass fittings allow to fix a bayonet, meaning that this one services rifle equipped cavalry units. Our copy has the 1909 markings.
