Description
This reproduction features a Russian 1826 model Infantry Officer’s Saber. This model was used by officers of the Grenadier and Engineering regiments during the first half of the 19th century . Hilt is finely cast and decorated polished brass. Its grip is made of wood wrapped in leather and an overwrap of braided brass wire.
Blade: High Carbon Steel 1060, HRC 52-54. Leather scabbard with brass brackets. Weight 1100g. Length 93cm (blade 78cm).

These swords and sabers are high quality copies. Blades are made of forged and tempered steel. They might not be used for fencing, though.
