SW600 Napoleonic infantry officer sword

Description

This saber replica belonged to a junior officer, who asked a maker to make a special weapon for him, not considering the official "règlement". The hilt is of Hungarian type, with one branch and a lion head pommel, "Marengo" type. The grip show a place for engraving the officer's initials. This is a very light and quick weapon, quite comfortable to use.

Curved blade made of high carbon steel, tempered, engraved with golden decorative patterns. Blade is also blued to emphases the goldened symbols. Scabbard made of leather and brass brackets. Total length 90cm (blade 77cm). Weight 880g.

× These swords and sabers are high quality copies. Blades are made of forged and tempered steel. They might not be used for fencing, though.
