Description
French officer saber - F1 type. Coming from the Napoleonic light hors saber, this smaller version is now only used by officers, for ceremonial purposes. The scabbard is made of steel, with two brass brackets for the suspension rings. The SW601 version comes with an iron scabbard, whereas the SW601N one has a blackened steel scabbard.

These swords and sabers are high quality copies. Blades are made of forged and tempered steel. They might not be used for fencing, though.
