SW232 Viking sword

Description

This Scandinavian sword is made on the same pattern than our SW239 sword, but with a more intricate decorative pattern on the hilt. The quillons are now a bit rounder. The weapon may be dated from the 9th cent.

Length 94cm (blade 79cm). Weight 1,2kg. Width of the blade at hilt's level : 4,56cm. Hilt covered in leather. Scabbard made of leather covered wood. Grip covered in leather.
